Over de voorstelling
In Wonder staat de liefde centraal! En nee, niet alleen in de romantische betekenis. De voorstelling gaat ook over liefde voor jezelf, voor de ander, voor de natuur en voor alles om je heen. Achref laat zien dat je niet vroeg genoeg kunt leren hoe belangrijk deze verschillende vormen van liefde zijn. De liefde is wonderlijk. Kan je het voelen?
In Wonder daagt Achref zichzelf uit door fysiek en beeldend theater te combineren met dans en een installatie. Deze samensmelting van vormen zorgt voor een bijzondere theatrale ervaring.
De voorstelling is ontwikkeld vanuit een artistiek onderzoek in samenwerking met 2turvenhoog.

Wonder is all about love! And no, not only the romantic kind. This production is also about loving yourself, others, nature and everything around you. Achref shows us it’s never too early to learn how important these different forms of love are. Love is full of wonder. Can you feel it?
In Wonder, Achref sets himself a challenge by combining physical, visual theatre with dance and an installation. A blending of forms that guarantees an exceptional theatrical experience.
This performance was developed on the basis of artistic research carried out in collaboration with 2turvenhoog.
Over de makers
Achref Adhadhi kwam in 2015 voor de liefde vanuit Tunesië naar Nederland. Hij maakt voorstellingen waarin hij serieuze en persoonlijke onderwerpen op een luchtige en humoristische manier presenteert.
Achref is een mimespeler en een expressieve maker. In 2024 maakte hij Thuis Best in coproductie met 2turvenhoog. Wonder is zijn vierde voorstelling die hij in Nederland heeft gemaakt.

In 2015 Achref Adhadhi moved from Tunisia to the Netherlands, following his heart. He creates performances that examine serious and personal issues in a light, humorous way.
Achref is a mime artist and maker of expressive productions. In 2024, he created Thuis Best in coproduction with 2turvenhoog. Wonder is his fourth production in the Netherlands.
